Dear Incoming Students,

Welcome to CSUSB!

We are Lori Palmerton and Dr. Molly Springer, currently serving as the leadership team for Services to Students with Disabilities (SSD), and we are so happy to be here for you as you embark on your journey at our university.

If you are a person with differences, SSD can help level the playing field between yourself and your nondisabled peers by:

  • Connecting you with a supportive and knowledgeable counselor
  • Granting accommodations in and out of the classroom
  • Assisting in your participation in college life.

You can get started with us at SSD by email, call or click. There is an amazing team of professionals here who are ready to assist you! You can learn more about SSD on our website: www.csusb.edu/ssd

Your involvement with SSD is a great step towards your future successes in school and in life.

On our campus, we have assisted thousands of individuals with unique needs to successfully complete their college education. Among just the few services we provide here at SSD include:

  • accommodations for permanent and temporary disabilities, assistive technology,
  • mobility cart rides, and
  • priority registration for those who are with our office.

If you are unsure of whether or not SSD can be a resource to you – talk to us and let’s find out together. Everything you do with our office is free and confidential.

We commit to you this: that we will work tirelessly to include you as a whole person in all that we do.

SSD is here to guide you through a wonderful time in your life here at CSUSB. I encourage you to get in touch with us with any questions, communicate with us often, and fully utilize our office to support your greatest success.

Sincerely,

Lori Palmerton and Dr. Molly Springer
