Applying for Services
Applying for services in AIM is simple. To begin, you must be admitted to the university. From there, simply fill out the online application. Click the “Eligibility Process” tab at the top of this page and select “Documentation Guidelines.” Once you've submitted the online application an SSD representative will contact you to schedule an appointment with one of our counselors.

Providing Equal Access
Students with disabilities have a variety of accommodations available in order to provide them with equal access. Accommodations are determined and approved by counselors based upon the documentation submitted with the student’s application packet, and an interactive process with the student’s assigned counselor.

SSD provides additional services that include tutoring, voter registration, and an assistive technology lending library.
To request accommodations, students must follow these steps every term:
- Complete the Service Request form every term via the SSD website. For Alternate Media, please use the Alternate Media & Additional Materials submission service. For Exam Accommodations, please submit the SSD Exam Accommodation Request Form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Submit the form to the SSD office within the specific timeframe listed on the form.
* Priority will be given to requests that are submitted early.
