CSUSB Doctoral Program Development Resources
The Office of Graduate Studies enthusiastically supports the development of new applied and professional doctoral programs at CSUSB. To assist you with this process, we’ve curated key planning materials and resources from the Chancellor’s Office.
See the flowchart below for important deadlines for cycle 2 and cycle 3.
Caroline Vickers will submit all curriculum documents to the Chancellor's Office. For each new cycle, the process starts by submitting the letter of intent and abstract to Caroline Vickers by October 1st so that she can prepare the documents to submit to the Chancellor's Office by October 15th.
Cycle 2 projections that have passed UCOP review need to be submitted to Caroline Vickers by May 1st, 2027.
Cycle 3 concept proposals: Those whose abstracts and letters of intent have passed Chancellor's Office review must submit concept proposals to Caroline Vickers by June 15th, 2027 prior to UCOP review.
Feel free to reach out to Dr. Caroline Vickers at cvickers@csusb.edu if you have any questions about the process.
