Installment Payment Plan

California State University, San Bernadino offers enrolled students standard payment plans each term to students who are in good financial standing with the University.  Please note that the Health Services Fee is not included in any installment payment plan and must be paid in addition to your first installment payment.

*Students enrolled in more than one payment plan will only be charged one processing fee per term.

**The first payment must be received in full by the first due date to secure your classes.  You are required to pay the Health Services Fee in addition to your first payment.  If you miss any payment after the first installment, you will not be dropped from classes but will be charged a monthly late payment plan fee of $25.00 and a hold may be placed on your account.

Important Summer 2020 Information

Due to the Quarter to Semester Conversion, for Summer 2020 resident and housing & meals installment payment plan, there will be TWO (2) installments and the due dates are as follows:

  • First Installment Due Date: June 16, 2020
  • Second Installment Due Date: July 15, 2020
  • A $22.00 installment plan processing fee applies.

To Enroll:

Students may only enroll in payment plans through the student portal.  View the Installment Payment Plan Tutorial or follow these steps to enroll:

  1. Log into MyCoyote 
  2. Click on the "Student Center" tab.
  3. Under the Finances tab click "Enroll in Payment Plan".
  4. Agree to all of the conditions of the payment plan and follow all of the "next" prompts until fully enrolled in the plan.  Note: Once a contract has been accepted, students must adhere to that contract; it cannot be revised.

To View Due Dates and Amounts:

After enrolling in a payment plan, if you want to see the amounts due by date follow these steps:

  1. Log into MyCoyote 
  2. Click on the "Student Center" tab.
  3. Under the Finances tab click "Account Inquiry"
  4. Select the "Charges Due" tab.

International Students

Deferred Payment Plan contracts are provided by the Center for International Studies & Programs. After the base fee payment has been made, a completed Deferred Payment Plan Contracts should be emailed to Student Financial Services at sfs@csusb.edu.  Deferred Payment Plans are only available for fall and spring terms.  International Students should enroll in the Tuition and Fee payment plan for the summer term through MyCoyote. 

Important Notice Regarding Fees

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after fees are initially charged or initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees. All listed fees, other than mandatory systemwide fees, are subject to change without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, or the Presidents, as appropriate. Changes in mandatory systemwide fees will be made in accordance with the requirements of the Working Families Student Fee Transparency and Accountability Act (Sections 66028 - 66028.6 of the Education Code).
