Installment Payment Plan

Important Notice Regarding Fees:

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after fees are initially charged or initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees. All listed fees, other than mandatory systemwide fees, are subject to change without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, or the Presidents, as appropriate. Changes in mandatory systemwide fees will be made in accordance with the requirements of the Working Families Student Fee Transparency and Accountability Act (Sections 66028 - 66028.6 of the Education Code).

The CSUSB Installment Payment Plan (IPP) allows students to pay tuition in THREE installments!

A $22.00 installment plan processing fee applies.

You must enroll in classes before you sign up for the installment plan and you may only enroll in the Installment Payment Plan through your MyCoyote Student Center.

To Enroll: Log into MyCoyote and go to the Student Center.  Under the Finances tab click the "Enroll in Payment Plan" link. Agree to all of the conditions of the payment plan and follow all of the "next" prompts until fully enrolled in the plan.  View the

After enrolling, if you want to see the amounts due by date, click "Account Inquiry" and select "Charges Due".  This will provide you a detailed listing of how much is due and when.

*If the first installment payment is not received by the payment deadline YOU MAY BE DROPPED FROM ALL OF YOUR CLASSES.

If you miss any payment after the first installment, you will not be dropped from classes, but will be charged a monthly late payment plan fee of $25.00 and a hold will be placed on your account.

Eligibility:

  1. Students must be in good financial standing with the University.
  2. Once a contract has been accepted, students must adhere to that contract; it cannot be revised.

International Students:

Payment plan contracts are available in the International Center in CE 356. After the first payment has been made, submit the completed contract to the Student Financial Services Office in UH-035 or via fax, (909) 537-7607.
