Cisco IPCC

Telecommunications & Network Services has purchased Cisco Unified CCX (formerly known as IPCC). This enables departments to do automatic call distribution through a contact center application. Automatic call distribution allows calls to be distributed to a specific group of agents within a department that are trained to answer their questions. This also gives customers one number to dial to reach a particular department, such as the Office of the Registrar.
