CAMP COYOTE
August 18 - 20, 2025
Get outside, get connected, and kick off your college journey with Camp Coyote, a 2-night, 3-day outdoor orientation experience set in the pines at Lawler Alpine Cabins in Riverside County. Designed for college students, this trip blends adventure, service, and community-building in one unforgettable weekend.
You’ll hit the trails on scenic hikes, volunteer to give back to the local environment, and visit a nature center to learn more about the ecosystems that make this mountain region so special. In between, you’ll have time to explore Idyllwild, CA, a charming mountain town known for its artsy vibes, forest views, and relaxed energy.
Evenings are all about connection: gather around a campfire, share stories, and enjoy s’mores under the stars. Whether you come with friends or show up solo, Camp Coyote is a great way to meet new people, build confidence, and feel more at home in your college community.
Accommodations keep it comfy while still feeling like camp: you’ll sleep in tent cabins and still have access to hot showers and flush toilets.
Come for the fresh air and adventure, leave with new friends, new memories, and a stronger connection to nature (and CSUSB).
