The Post-Graduate Certificate (PGC) in Health Services Administration at Cal State San Bernardino provides the essential management and leadership skills needed to thrive in today’s dynamic healthcare industry. Students gain practical knowledge to navigate regulatory, operational, and patient care challenges across government, nonprofit, and private sectors.

Designed for both current healthcare professionals and those transitioning into the field, this program offers a flexible pathway to advance your career or continue on to CSUSB’s Master of Science in Health Services Administration (MSHSA) program.

This program is ideal for students who want to:

  • Build expertise in healthcare management and administration
  • Earn credentials recognized across the healthcare industry
  • Prepare for leadership roles that drive health equity and organizational success
  • Apply their 16 certificate credits toward the MSHSA program (separate admission required)

The PGC Program in Health Services Administration can be used as a pathway toward CSUSB’s Master of Science in Health Services Administration (MSHSA) program. Students who successfully complete their PGC program can apply their sixteen (16) PGC credits MSHSA program. However, PGC graduates are not automatically admitted to the MSHSA program; they must apply separately to the program and meet its academic and other requirements.
