The following suggested budget indicates F-1 and J-1 Visa applicants’ expenses and cost for eight months (two terms of attendance as a full-time student). It’s important to note that these amounts will vary based on your economic situation and resources.

Higher health insurance rates may apply for students over the age of 24. If your spouse or children will accompany you to the United States, you must provide proof of additional funding of $1,800 for a spouse and $1,200 per child per academic year (2 semesters).
