Overview
The Post-Graduate Certificate (PGC) in Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) at CSUSB is designed for professionals ready to take the next step in their careers. This program provides advanced qualifications that open doors to leadership roles, specialized positions, and entrepreneurial opportunities in one of the world’s fastest-growing industries.
The PGC in Hospitality and Tourism Management is ideal for students who want to:
- Transition into leadership positions in areas such as event planning, hotel management, or sustainable tourism.
- Gain specialized skills and qualifications without the time commitment of a full degree program.
- Launch or grow entrepreneurial ventures, such as boutique hotels, travel agencies, event planning companies, or sustainable tourism businesses.
In addition, the PGC can serve as a pathway to CSUSB’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Students who successfully complete the PGC may apply up to 12 earned credits toward the MBA program. However, PGC graduates are not automatically admitted to the MBA program; they must apply separately to the program and meet its academic and other requirements.
