Item to Submit For International Applicants

 International Applicants to CSUSB must submit the following:

  • Complete online application at Cal State Apply. Please read the instructions carefully and complete all appropriate sections. Please upload the following documents to the program materials section of Cal State Apply before submitting your application:
  1. Academic records, certificates and diplomas must be an original or photocopy document stamped/signed by a school official, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education or government authority. Please note that opened transcripts are not considered official. Applicants who have studied in the U.S. are required to have the institution(s) directly send their official transcript(s) to International Admissions.

         --Translation of document(s): All original supporting documents not in English must be accompanied by an official translation in the same format and stamped by a qualified translator. Translations by students are not acceptable.

         --Falsified document(s): You will be denied admissions or expelled if you send falsified academic records, bank statements, or any other supporting documents.

        --Failure to list all schools attended: If you do not list all schools attended on your application, you will be denied admission or refused transfer credit.

       2. Results of the English Language Proficiency Exams, unless exempt. More information can be found at International Admission. 

       3. A copy of your passport photo page.

       4. Affidavit of Financial Support (PDF) and bank statement.

       5. Any additional application documents required by the department, such as personal statement, resume etc. 

  • A $70.00 (US currency) non-refundable application fee. Due at the time you submit your Cal State Apply application and can only be paid by credit or debit card.
  • International students must pay a non-refundable enrollment confirmation deposit before an I-20 can be issued. This deposit secures your place in the MS Cybersecurity & Analytics program and is applied toward your tuition balance. Instructions on how to submit your deposit can be found here.
Item to Submit For Domestic Applicants

Domestic Applicants to CSUSB must submit the following:

  • Complete online application at Cal State Apply. Please read the instructions carefully and complete all appropriate sections. Please upload the following documents to the program materials section of Cal State Apply before submitting your application:
  1. Academic records, certificates and diplomas. Submission of official transcripts from all institutions attended to CSUSB Office of Graduate Studies. CSUSB students are not required to submit any CSUSB transcripts.

Conditionally classified status:

Students who meet all entrance requirements may be admitted to the program in a conditionally classified status. Once students meet the minimum passing level of “B” for IST 6115 (or successfully complete a “credit by exam” for the course) they will be advanced to classified graduate standing in the program. Only fully classified students, however, may enroll in the other 6000-level core courses unless they have written consent from the IDS Department Chair.
