Allied Health Peer Mentoring Program

Welcome to the Allied Health Peer Mentoring Program

The Allied Health Peer Mentoring program’s mission is to build a network and establish a community of future health professionals amongst CSUSB graduate students enrolled in allied health programs.  The Inland Empire has an ever-growing demand for healthcare professionals that CSUSB is poised to meet as the only public university in the region to offer degree programs that are flexible and affordable.  This program aims to provide a support network for graduate students through mentoring in order to achieve success in their graduate programs and start a career in healthcare.

Program Overview

  • Get matched with peer mentors, who are returning allied health graduate students, and gain a peer support system to succeed in your educational journey
  • Mentoring families consist of 6-7 mentees to 1 mentor in order to build a tighter knit group and higher level of connectedness within this smaller cohort
  • Peer mentors will provide guidance and resources for mentees to succeed in their graduate program and overcome challenges both inside and outside their program
  • Challenge and develop mentors to become better leaders as they navigate their graduate program and transition into their clinicals and career
