The health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff is the top priority for Cal State San Bernardino, therefore, Parking & Transportation Services will be temporarily closed to in-person services due the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak beginning Monday, March 23, 2020. Please know that our staff are working off-site and are ready to serve your needs during regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Parking permits will not be required during daytime hours, seven days a week. Parking permits continue to be required for any vehicle parked on campus overnight and enforcement will be conducted between the hours of 10pm – 6am, seven days a week. Parking enforcement will continue at all times for disabled parking, service vehicle/other specially marked spaces, and fire zones.
Defensive Driving Course
The successful completion of a CSU approved defensive driving course is required every 4 years for all State employees who will be driving a state vehicle or privately owned vehicle on official state business, including electric carts. This is mandated by the State for liability purposes. To complete the course and exam please choose from the following links:
For CSUSB Employees (including Faculty and Staff): Please email your full name and coyote ID# to email@example.com. You will receive an email response with the instructions on how to access and take the training. This email will be sent out within two business days.
For CSUSB Affiliates (including Students and Volunteers): Affiliate Defensive Driving Test
Upon completion of the course, you will need to bring a copy of the Certificate of Completion, Authorization To Use State Vehicle, and your driver's license to Parking & Transportation Services (UH-039) to receive your Defensive Driving Card. Employees must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid California driver's license. The card should be carried with a valid Driver's License at all times. The Defensive Driving Card is not to be substituted for a valid driver's license.
