The health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff is the top priority for Cal State San Bernardino, therefore, Parking & Transportation Services will be temporarily closed to in-person services due the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak beginning Monday, March 23, 2020. Please know that our staff are working off-site and are ready to serve your needs during regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Parking permits will not be required during daytime hours, seven days a week. Parking permits continue to be required for any vehicle parked on campus overnight and enforcement will be conducted between the hours of 10pm – 6am, seven days a week. Parking enforcement will continue at all times for disabled parking, service vehicle/other specially marked spaces, and fire zones.
Parking permits may be requested from Parking Services for campus volunteers. The volunteer should not be receiving compensation from the University or taking classes with the campus. Volunteer permits are issued on a semester basis. Please see the following steps below to request a volunteer permit:
- The volunteer has completed a CSUSB Volunteer Identification Form with the Human Resources Department. Please see the campus' volunteer policy for more information here, CSUSB Volunteer Policy.
- The hosting department completes and submits a permit request via the online permit request form here, Invited Guest Request Form.
- The request will be processed within 14 business days and notification will be sent to the requesting department whether the request was approved or denied. If the request is approved a permit will be created and the volunteer may pick up their permit from the Parking Services' Office (UH-039).
