Volunteer Permits

Parking permits may be requested from Parking Services for campus volunteers. The volunteer should not be receiving compensation from the University or taking classes with the campus. Volunteer permits are issued on a semester basis. Please see the following steps below to request a volunteer permit:

  1. The volunteer has completed a CSUSB Volunteer Identification Form with the Human Resources Department. Please see the campus' volunteer policy for more information here, CSUSB Volunteer Policy
  2. The hosting department completes and submits a permit request via the online permit request form here, Invited Guest Request Form
  3. The request will be processed within 14 business days and notification will be sent to the requesting department whether the request was approved or denied. If the request is approved a permit will be created and the volunteer may pick up their permit from the Parking Services' Office (UH-039).
