Course Substitution

Approval Process

Students wishing to substitute coursework in their major or minor should contact the advisor or department chair in the college of their declared major or minor for approval. If approved, the department will forward the course substitution request to the Office of the Registrar for final approval and processing. 

Email Notification

An email notification will be sent to the student’s CSUSB email address when the course substitution has been applied to the student's PAWS report.  If the course substitution request was denied, the student will also be notified by CSUSB email.  Please allow a minimum of two (2) weeks for approval and processing.
