Coyote Village is a traditional residence hall with community bathrooms, lounges, and a shared kitchen in Running Springs.  Arrowhead Village and University Village are apartment communities with individual bedrooms, bathrooms may be shared depending on occupancy of unit, kitchen and living area spaces are shared in all units.  Click for information about Using Technology When Living On Campus.  Pets are not allowed in the residence halls!

    • All-purpose cleaning solution; disinfecting wipes/sprays

  • Kitchen/Cooking (Coyote Village residents must purchase a Yotie Eats meal plan)

    • Small 700-watt Microwave (CV & AV) [one per room/apartment]
    • Mini-fridges, maximum of 3.7 cubic feet - a pad must be placed between the mini-fridge and the surface it sits on (CV)
    • Can opener
    • Dish soap
    • Sponges/rags
    • Trash Can and Trash Bags

What Not to Bring:

These items are prohibited and could warrant a student conduct meeting if found in resident rooms or apartments.

  • Hot plate / anything with an open heating element
  • Air conditioner, including portable units
  • Space heater
  • High wattage appliances
  • Wireless routers / printers
  • Video doorbells
  • Extension cords 
  • Weapons and firearms
  • Candles
  • Incense
  • Glass pipes/paraphernalia
  • Other potential fire hazards / flammable items
  • Animals/pets are not allowed

Emergency Preparedness and Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS):

  • Recommended Items: 
    • Prepare an emergency supply kit
      • Stock supplies for a week
      • Non-perishable food that doesn’t need heating
    • Water
    • Flashlight
    • Solar lantern and/or battery operated lights
    • First aid supplies
    • Cash
    • Back up charging battery for phone
    • Stock of batteries for items you rely on
    • Food thermometer for checking refrigerated food
    • Can opener
    • Cooler and bag(s) of ice
    • Surge protector
    • Plastic bin with lid to store/transport perishable food items
