Conference Information

The Department of Housing and Residential Education at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is the ideal location to hold your next event.  Cal State’s beautifully landscaped campus is nestled against the San Bernardino Mountains allowing participants to enjoy nature at its best while in a learning environment.  CSUSB is the perfect setting to hold corporate meetings, workshops, youth camps, and retreats while enjoying your stay in our unique and spacious overnight accommodations.  Our experienced and professional staff is here to assist you in making your event a success!

Overnight accommodations consist of four (4) villages: Coyote Village and Serrano are traditional residence halls and Arrowhead Village and University Village are apartment-style housing and are available mid-June through August.


While staying at CSUSB, the custodial staff in each village maintains all public areas. Linen service is available for conference groups for a nominal fee. The linen package includes: twin flat sheet, twin fitted sheet, pillowslip, bath towel, washcloth, cup and soap.

Card-operated washers and dryers are also available in each village. A phone app (PayRange) can be downloaded from the App Store (directions are on the laundry machines) or see a Housing representative for additional information.

Parking permits are not included in your overnight stay but may be purchased at the Parking Services office or from a parking permit dispenser located throughout campus parking lots

Meeting Room space is available through the Department of Housing & Residential Education in Coyote Village and can be reserved on a first come, first serve basis for a fee.  Some of these rooms offer audio/video equipment and can accommodate 15 to 100 people.  If you are interested in utilizing campus fields, pools, or other outdoor space for your conference activities, let us know.

Dining & Catering

Insurance Requirements

In addition to a license agreement between the Department of Housing & Residential Education and an organization, a $1,000,000/Occurrence, and $2,000,000/Aggregate with General Liability Additional Insured Endorsement is required.  CSUSB Risk Management also has specific requirements for groups that have minors in attendance.  When holding a conference at CSUSB, there are certain policies/regulations needed when utilizing our overnight accommodations.
