California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is an ideal location for your next summertime retreat, camp, event, or conference. Nestled against the San Bernardino mountains, our scenic campus offers a natural, inspiring setting perfect for youth, teen, collegiate, or adult programs.
We are taking reservations for Summer 2026 now! Reservations are required 6 weeks prior to your event, and must be confirmed before finalizing stay plans. The Department of Housing and Residential Education (DHRE) is able to provide overnight accommodations in our three residential Villages. Coyote Village provides traditional residence hall housing ideal for guests under 18. Arrowhead Village and University Village offer apartment-style units with kitchens and furnished living rooms. Housing is assigned based on availability and offered June 1–July 31 each year.

During your stay on campus, the DHRE custodial staff will maintain all public areas in the Village communities. Guests are responsible for the cleanliness of the assigned units, bedrooms, and bathrooms.
Attendees of your camp or conference may bring their own bed and bath linens, or linen service may be requested for additional fees. Linen packages may include: (1) flat sheet, (1) fitted sheet, (1) pillowcase, (1) bath towel, (1) washcloth, and (1) blanket.
Laundry facilities are located throughout the Village communities. Laundry machines operate by smartphone using the PayRange app (available through the App Store or Google Play Center). The cost for wash and dry cycles is $1.25 each cycle.

All guests parking a vehicle at CSUSB are required to pay daily parking fees. Permits are available for single or multi-day use, and can be purchased from the green ParkMobile kiosks located in CSUSB lots. When holding a conference at CSUSB, there are certain policies & regulations that must be met and followed when utilizing our overnight accommodations. In addition to a license agreement between DHRE and your organization, a $2,000,000/Occurrence, and $4,000,000/Aggregate with a General Liability Additional Insured Endorsement is required for your group to stay on campus.
- You must submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance, along with your application. Insurance Documentation Form (Requires Authentication) must be completed and approved by our university.

- CSUSB Risk Management also has specific requirements for groups that have minors (guests under the age of 18) in attendance. Conferences that fall under the CSU Youth Protection Policy and Guidelines, must include insurance coverage in accordance with CSU Policy.
