2026-2027 Housing Fee Rates by Village

First-Year CSUSB Student Housing

(Limited Space Available for Returning Coyote Village 2nd Year Residents)

Coyote Village residents are assigned double occupancy rooms; there are a limited inventory of single occupancy rooms available.  Residents share common bathrooms on their assigned wing.  Housing assignments are made based on application submission date and space availability.  

Coyote Village residents are required to purchase a meal plan; visit Yotie Eats for available options and prices (Returning 2nd Year Residents Eligible for Yotie 5 at discounted rate).  Meal plans are not included in the room rates below.

Returning (Continuing) and Transfer CSUSB Student Housing

Each resident is assigned an individual bedroom and bathroom (shared between 1-2 people depending on assignment); apartment has shared kitchen and living space.  Housing assignments are made based on application submission date and space availability.  

Voluntary Meal Plans for Arrowhead Village and University Village residents are available for purchase through Yotie Eats.

Additional Fees

$100 Non-refundable Prepayment

A $100 non-refundable prepayment, applied to the 2026-2027 on-campus housing balance, or first term of the contract, is due in the Housing Portal; the prepayment is different from the first-time enrollment confirmation deposit. 

Required Meal Plans (Coyote Village Residents only)

Rates displayed above do not reflect the cost of a meal plan. Coyote Village residents must select a meal plan in the Housing Portal after the Housing prepayment. Meal plan charges will post to student accounts after the housing rent charges.

Parking Permit

A Parking Permit purchased through Parking and Transportation Services is required for all vehicles parked in Housing and Residential Education designated areas. Parking permits are purchased directly from Parking and Transportation Services website.

2026-2027 Payment Information

All housing fees (except for the $100 non-refundable prepayment through the Housing Portal) are paid through the student account via MyCoyote. Students are responsible for monitoring their student accounts to ensure all payments are made by the due dates. Student Financial Services posts payments to any past due balances and unpaid tuition and fees prior to posting the payments for housing.  Please be sure that all past due charges have been paid.  

Fall 2026 Housing charges will post to student accounts in July 2026. Room assignments made after July 22, 2026 will post between 24-48 hours of the assignment email.  Spring 2027 Housing charges will post to student accounts starting in November 2026; please allow 7-10 business days for rate adjustment updates. 

Housing Fee Payments

The Department of Housing and Residential Education (DHRE) will place semester fees on the student account at least two weeks prior to the beginning of each semester. Students must make payment for any unpaid balances on or prior to the tuition due date each semester.  A late payment fee may be added to accounts by Student Financial Services with balances due for housing after the "Total Balance Due Date" for each semester.

Payment Methods

Online Payment: Submit an electronic payment using the payment link on the “Student Center” of your MyCoyote account. MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Visa, and electronic check are acceptable means of payment. International Student payments can also be made online with Flywire. Do not submit your $100 non-refundable prepayment here!

Installment Payment Plan: Students may only enroll in an Installment Payment Plan for tuition and fees through the student portal, or by contacting Student Financial Services (SFS) for assistance. View Installment Payment Plan information through Student Financial Services page.

Walk-In Payment: Make a cash, check, money order, and/or ATM/debit payment in person at the Student Financial Services office located in University Hall (UH-035). Credit cards are not accepted.

Mail-In Payment: Make check or money order payable to: CSUSB-Housing, include your 9 digit Coyote ID number in the memo.
