Apply a population-focused lens to expert nursing care across clinical settings. This concentration equips you to improve health outcomes through data-driven assessment, program planning and evaluation. - Nurse Educator
Prepare to teach and lead in both academic and clinical settings. You’ll gain the skills needed to educate the next generation of nurses and support lifelong learning in healthcare environments. - Advanced Community/Public Health Nursing

Program Planning and Evaluation
Program planning, implementation and evaluation to improve health and meet health care needs of populations. Includes fiscal management and identifying grant sources.
Health Policy Leadership
Social, ethical, political, economic, and ideological forces that shape health policy and law. Informed participation in interdisciplinary policy-making processes; impact of health policy on professional practice. Emphasis on leadership skills to champion solutions for health.
Advanced Nursing Research
Overview of the research process including developing the research question, literature review, research design, sampling, data collection, and data analysis.
