Step 6: Attend Orientation

Transfer Student Orientation is an important step in becoming part of a supportive Coyote community that’s ready to help you grow, reach your goals, and define what’s next.

This required program is thoughtfully designed for returning and transfer students and includes three key parts:

  • Pre-Orientation – Self-paced online modules to introduce you to CSUSB, campus resources, and what it means to be a Coyote.
  • Orientation Day – A full-day, on-campus session where you’ll meet other students, connect with faculty and staff, and get ready for academic success.
  • Connections – Campus events and programs help you stay engaged, make new friends, and feel right at home.

What to Expect at Orientation

Transfer Student Orientation is a one-day event created to help you feel prepared and supported. You’ll join a Pack Group with other students from your college and be guided through the day by a student Orientation Leader who’s here to help you make the most of the experience.
