Lifelong Learning Starts Here
At Cal State San Bernardino, learning has no age limit. Through the Over 60 Program, California residents age 60 or older can enroll in regular session courses at our San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses without paying certain fees. It’s a wonderful way to stay engaged, continue your education, and be part of the Coyote community.
To participate, you’ll still need to meet the university’s admission requirements for first-year or transfer students and be admitted into a state-side degree program.
Over 60 Program Requirements
- Open to California residents age 60 or older
- Apply to CSUSB through Cal State Apply
- Submit official transcripts from each institution you’ve attended to the Office of Admissions and Student Recruitment

Once admitted, you may register for classes on the last day of priority registration. If you apply after the priority period has ended, you can still register during late registration—and the $25 late fee will be waived.
