Choose Your Adventure: Study Abroad
Ready to explore the world? You can study abroad for a few weeks, a semester, or a full year through CSUSB’s wide range of global programs. Discover the program that’s right for you:
- CSUSB-Led Programs: Travel with CSUSB faculty, staff and classmates on short-term programs that offer hands-on support and a group experience.
- Exchange Programs: Study at a partner university abroad in an independent, immersive setting — often as the only CSUSB student on campus.
- CSUIP Programs: Join other CSU students for a semester or year abroad with built-in support and opportunities for language and cultural immersion.
- Direct Enroll Programs: Enroll directly in a host university’s summer program abroad with flexible course options and support for credit transfer.

External Programs
Offered by third-party providers. These programs are not managed by CSUSB, so financial aid isn’t available, and you’ll be responsible for arranging credit transfer on your own.

Study Away Program (National Student Exchange)
Study at U.S. or U.S. territory universities. Great domestic alternative to international travel.

Field Trips
Short, non-credit trips for research, internships, service learning and more.
