About Diversity and Social Justice (Minor Only) at CSUSB

The Diversity and Social Justice GE minor at Cal State San Bernardino provides students with opportunities to critically examine the theories, histories, and systems related to identity, diversity, equity, and social justice.

Through interdisciplinary coursework and projects, students deepen their understanding of how civil, political, economic, social, cultural, and environmental rights and opportunities are accessed (or restricted) among different communities.

This minor encourages students to engage thoughtfully with questions of power, representation, injustice, opportunity, and human dignity in local, national, and global contexts.

This minor complements any major by strengthening students’ ability to think critically about societal structures, communicate across differences, and contribute to more equitable and inclusive communities.
