The Staff Development Center (SDC) is pleased to announce the addition of Victoria Hernandez to the SDC Team as Learning & Development Coordinator (ASC II).

Victoria joined the SDC on Monday, September 19, 2022. As Learning & Development Coordinator, Victoria focuses on training coordination, learning management systems, designing and distributing marketing, workshop development, and facilitation. She also performs general administrative and clerical duties. Victoria earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside (UCR) and a master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from California Baptist University (CBU).

Before joining CSUSB, Victoria was a Lead Facilitator for UCR's Student Recreation Center - ROPES Program, an IOP Intern for a non-profit organization, a Loan Officer Assistant for a mortgage company, and most recently, a consultant for CBU through her master's program.

While applying for this position, Victoria was impressed with how CSUSB invested not only in its students but also in its faculty and staff. Victoria reflects on the last two months and feels grateful to have met colleagues who are friendly, helpful, and exude Coyote Pride. When asked if she regretted choosing CSUSB, she said "no," she feels fortunate to have secured a job in her field of study, IOP. Victoria is excited to become a subject matter expert in learning and development and looks forward to personal and professional growth opportunities here at CSUSB.
