Grad Slam | Date: April 8th Time: 5:00 PM Location: SMSU South Theater | Join the Office of Graduate Studies for our university-wide Grad Slam! Watch as our students present their timely, and provoking graduate work. The catch? They have to do it in three minutes or less to a non-expert audience and a panel of community judges. She engages students by having them reimagine citrus crate labels in assignments that explore issues like segregation, education, the environment, health, and labor, making the topics relevant to their lived experiences and communities. |

The theme of this year’s event, “Defining the Futures of Research,” reflects our continued commitment to sponsored programs which bring the resources to support extraordinary research of our faculty and provide funding for many services benefiting our students and local community.
