LEARN (formerly known as Employee Development Days/EDD) is a campus-wide conference focused on providing CSUSB employees with a variety of development and enrichment opportunities through keynote sessions, workshops, discussion panels, exhibitions, and cross-campus collaboration. Designed to support professional and personal growth, LEARN reflects CSUSB’s ongoing commitment to continuous learning, employee well-being, and community building across divisions.

Learning Champion Award
Is there a manager who has inspired or supported your success as a staff member? Consider nominating someone who has promoted, enhanced, and/or sustained a learning environment and exemplifies CSUSB core values for the Learning Champion Award.
Selected Learning Champions are recognized during our annual LEARN Conference.
The 2026 nomination period is COMING SOON! Join us at the LEARN Conference to find out who won this year's coveted award.
- Award intended for individuals in the Management Personnel Plan (MPP) or equivalent position within non-state units
- Self-nominations are not accepted at this time
- Prior winners are not eligible to win award again
- Nominee must have completed at least one year of service at CSUSB as an MPP/Administrator by 6/1 of the current year for which they are being nominated (total of one year)
- Nominations can be submitted via online form or fillable PDF to be delivered to the Staff Development & Enrichment
