Power to the San Bernardino campus has been restored as of 9:55 a.m. Normal campus operations will resume Friday, July 26th. Essential staff with questions on whether to report should contact their appropriate administrator. Facilities Management will be working to check all building systems including HVAC, elevators and fire alarms. If power has not been restored in your work area when you return, please report that to Facilities Planning and Management at (909) 537-5175. The Palm Desert Campus remains open and operational.

E3 Visa

The E-3 category allows for Australian citizens to come to the United States to work. 

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for an E-3 visa you must demonstrate that you

  • Are a national of Australia
  • Have a legitimate offer of employment in the U. S.
  • Possess the necessary academic or other qualifying credentials
  • Will fill a position that qualifies as a specialty occupation

Duration

E-3 visas are initially granted for two years and may be extended indefinitely.

Documentation Required

  • Offer letter from CSUSB 
  • Labor Condition Application (LCA), completed by CSUSB
  • Evidence of US Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent

Change of Status to E-3 within the U.S.

If an applicant is currently inside the U.S. in another nonimmigrant status, CISP may apply to the USCIS California Service Center for a change of status to E-3.  Contact the CISP’s at iss@csusb.edu  for additional questions.
