Off Campus Procedures

COVID-19 / Coronavirus Information

Beginning Wednesday, March 18, large gathering locations on campus, including the Pfau Library, Santos Manuel Student Union, Recreation & Wellness Center, Children’s Center, and the Infant/Toddler Lab will temporarily cease operations.  For more information refer to the University's Covid-10 / Coronavirus information page.


How to Schedule an Event for an Off Campus Group:

Thank you for your interest in using the Santos Manuel Student Union facilities for your event.  In order to host your event, the following paperwork is required:

Insurance - $1,000,000 policy including the Santos Manuel Student Union, CSU San Bernardino, the Trustees of the CSU and the State of California as additional insured.  If you are unable to secure insurance, the SMSU can obtain it for you for a fee.

Additional Items to Consider


A deposit of 50% of the facility use fees are due at the time the reservation is made.  Payment in full is due 10 business days before the event.  

The SMSU only accepts cash or check.


Parking is enforced on campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Parking permits are $6/vehicle on weekdays and $3/vehicle on weekends.   You can either have your guests pay or you can sponsor their parking.


If you will be having food at your event, it must be catered by our on-campus catering department.
