About Entrepreneurship and Innovation at CSUSB
If you’re ready to turn bold ideas into real-world impact, the Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MSEI) program can help you do just that. Designed to be completed in 16 to 24 months, this immersive program is built for innovators who want to launch scalable ventures with long-term potential.
No matter your undergraduate background, you’ll gain hands-on experience with every stage of the entrepreneurial process—from sparking creative ideas and developing business models to building teams, managing resources, and planning a successful launch. Through a mix of coursework and experiential learning, you’ll learn to think strategically, act decisively, and lead with innovation.
Unlike traditional graduate business programs, the MSEI is laser-focused on entrepreneurship, giving you a deep, practical understanding of how to create, grow, and sustain your own venture.
Careers in Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Entrepreneurship is thriving—according to the Kauffman Foundation, it’s on the rise nationwide, and a recent Inc. magazine survey found there are now 27 million entrepreneurs in the U.S., nearly one-fifth of all working adults.
With an M.S. in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, you’ll be ready to join that movement—whether by launching your own venture, driving innovation within an established organization as an “intrapreneur,” or building a social enterprise that creates positive change in your community.
Beyond starting a business, this degree opens doors to careers in sales, marketing, business consulting, financial advising, and management—fields where your creativity, leadership, and strategic thinking will set you apart.
