Sample Courses
Introductory Accounting I
Fundamentals of recording, analyzing, and communicating financial information including income determination, assets and liability relationships and preparation of financial statements.
Introductory Accounting II
Topics include cost allocation; cost, volume and price relationships; product cost accounting and control systems; operations and capital budgeting, and related behavioral, reporting and information processing aspects.
Financial Statement Auditing
Topics will include standard audit reports, assessing audit risk, auditors’ legal liabilities, tests of controls, and audit evidence.

As a student in the administration program with a concentration in accounting, you’ll have access to valuable professional connections and real-world experiences. Each year, CSUSB hosts Meet the Firms and Meet the Government events, bringing employers directly to campus to recruit for internships and full-time positions.
Many students secure internships, job interviews and career opportunities through these events. You can also expand your professional network by joining the Beta Alpha Psi Honors Society or the Alpha Alpha Psi Club, both of which offer leadership, service and networking experiences in the accounting field.
