The CSUSB School of Social Work offers an in-person Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (BASW) Program at the San Bernardino Campus (SBC) and at the Palm Desert Campus (PDC). The BASW Program is a 2-year program in which students take all of their social work classes in order, with a cohort of peers. Students may only begin the BASW program in the Fall semester.
The BASW Program is impacted, meaning we have more applicants than seats available. Therefore, students must apply to CSUSB and to the BASW program (two separate applications).
The BASW Program is no longer accepting BASW applications for Fall 2026.
