Jazz Choir
JAZZ CHOIR Did you sing in your High School Jazz Choir? Do you like the cool sounds of jazz chords? Join the CSUSB Jazz Choir! MUS 3920 is 1 unit and meets TTh 1PM-2:15PM. Many students need a one unit course to round out their load, and this one could do that for you. There is one scheduled performance a semester, and in fall the opportunity to sing at Walt Disney Concert Hall! If you love the movie Home Alone, you will have an opportunity as a member of Jazz Choir to sing the live-to-screen performances with LA Phil and conductor-composer David Newman (Green Eggs and Ham, Frankenweenie, Wizard of Oz at the Sphere). The Walt Disney Concert Hall performances are optional not required, there is only one required performance a semester for this group with potential opportunities for others! If you sang in High School or Middle School, or if you just like to sing, join us, you don’t have to be a music major to do it, it’s a fun elective!
