The Visual Resource Center (VRC) in the Department of Art & Design is a digital and analog library of images, books and material samples — all available to support your coursework, presentations and research. It’s also home to the Innovative Materials Library and a growing collection of over 30,000 digital images of artworks, plus journals and reference books on art, design and visual culture.
As a student, you’ll have full access to our comprehensive creative facilities, including studios and labs for:
- Painting and printmaking
- Glass and ceramics
- Photography and video
- Sculpture, woodworking and furniture design
- Digital design and multimedia
You can also take advantage of CSUSB’s photo equipment lending program and submit your work to dotphotozine, a nationally recognized publication showcasing photography and visual storytelling by CSUSB students and recent alumni.
