Meet Professor Katherine Gray, MFA

Katherine Gray
A distinguished glass artist, art professor Katherine Gray was selected as a Fellow of the American Craft Council in 2020 and is the resident evaluator on the Netflix show, “Blown Away." She was also the CSUSB 2020-21 Outstanding Professor of the Year Awardee & John M. Pfau Endowed Professor.

Opportunities for Students

At CSUSB, our Visual Arts building is a dynamic hub designed entirely for the study and making of art and design. You’ll have access to dedicated spaces for painting, drawing, graphic design, UX/UI, illustration, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics, glass-making, and more — including welding rooms, a forge and foundry, two woodshops, and a metal shop with digital fabrication tools.

Whether you’re working with traditional materials or cutting-edge technology, everything you need to bring your vision to life is here.

You’ll also find:

  • The Visual Resource Center (VRC) — your go-to for research support, books, journals, and digital archives
  • Professional-level computer labs and photography studios
