Interfraternity Council (IFC) Recruitment Process

The Interfraternity Council conducts membership recruitment within the first few weeks of each quarter. Typically, there are a number of informational and social events that all chapters organize to provide interested men the opportunity to meet active members and learn about their organization.

In Fall Quarter, all of the fraternities distribute invitations for membership (commonly called a 'bid') together through the IFC. In Winter and Spring quarters each chapter develops their own recruitment schedule. We encourage you to ask each organization questions about the recruitment and bid process.

To participate in fraternity recruitment, a man must be enrolled in at least twelve (12) units at CSUSB, and have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher (Individual chapters may have a higher GPA requirement to join).
