Returning EOP Students

Once EOP, Always EOP!

Welcome back! EOP is here to help you return to CSUSB.

If you were previously admitted to EOP at CSUSB and are returning after time away from the university, you continue to be part of the EOP community. Our team can help you understand the readmission process, reconnect with campus resources, and prepare for a successful return to CSUSB.

Previously Attended CSUSB but not an EOP Student?

Returning to CSUSB does not automatically make you eligible for EOP. EOP is an admissions program, and students are generally admitted to EOP when they first enter the university.

If you were not previously admitted to EOP, visit the CSUSB Returning Students information page for guidance on returning to the university.

STEP 1

Contact the EOP Office

Start with EOP before applying.

Contact the EOP Office to schedule an appointment with an EOP admissions counselor. During your appointment, we will review your enrollment history and help determine which readmission process applies to you.

Call: 909-537-5042.

STEP 2

Follow Your Recommended Readmission Path

Your next step will depend on your individual situation.

After speaking with EOP, you may be directed to:

  • Complete the CSUSB Welcome Back Form;
  • Complete a Cal State Apply application as a returning student; or
  • Follow another readmission process based on your enrollment history and academic standing.

The EOP admissions counselor will help you identify the appropriate option before you begin.

STEP 3

Complete Any Additional Requirements

Some students may have additional steps before returning.

Depending on your academic standing and enrollment history, you may need to provide additional information or complete other requirements. This may include:

  • Meeting with an EOP counselor for academic advising;
  • Resolving university holds;
  • Submitting transcripts from colleges or universities attended since leaving CSUSB;
  • Providing additional documents requested by Admissions or EOP; or
  • Completing a probation or readmission process, when applicable.

EOP can help you understand these requirements and connect you with the appropriate campus office.

Need help? Call the EOP Office at 909-537-5042.

EOP office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

A note from the EOP Department at CSUSB

To help make your return to CSUSB as smooth as possible, EOP has established the following recommended deadlines specifically for returning EOP students. Starting the readmission process by these dates allows adequate time to complete required steps, resolve any outstanding items, meet with an EOP counselor, and register while more course options are still available.
