Power to the San Bernardino campus has been restored as of 9:55 a.m. Normal campus operations will resume Friday, July 26th. Essential staff with questions on whether to report should contact their appropriate administrator. Facilities Management will be working to check all building systems including HVAC, elevators and fire alarms. If power has not been restored in your work area when you return, please report that to Facilities Planning and Management at (909) 537-5175. The Palm Desert Campus remains open and operational.

Eligibility and Application

To establish eligibility to participate in Summer Bridge, students must do the following:

1. Submit a California State University Undergraduate Admission Application, an Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) Application, and required documents and supplementary materials.

2. Receive a letter of acceptance to the university from CSUSB Admissions and from the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP).

3. Submit a 2024 Summer Bridge application. A link to the on-line application is available below. Accepted EOP students may apply by completing the on-line application

If selected to participate in the EOP Summer Bridge, students are sent a letter that CONFIRMS their acceptance along with additional details about the 5-week commuter program.
