CSUSB's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) welcomes all enrolled veterans and military service members to our campus community. We encourage you to make a counseling appointment if you are experiencing difficulty in any area of life and would like the assistance of our professional psychologists and counselors. Any problem or issue that is affecting your personal, social or academic well-being is important, and we are ready to assist you. If you are experiencing relationship concerns, you and your significant other can attend counseling as a couple. Our center is funded by student health fees which means that there are no additional costs to you as a student to utilize CAPS. Our services are confidential, and if an individual's needs are beyond the scope of our services, referrals and coordination of treatment with off-campus resources will be provided. Please visit the psychological counseling website for more information. We look forward to seeing you on campus and assisting you in any way we can to enhance your educational experience at CSUSB. CAPS is located in the Health Center. To schedule an appointment, stop by or call (909)537-5040. CAPS can also be reached via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Veterans Support Group
The Veterans Support Group provides a space for current and former service members from all branches (including current Reserves and National Guard and those who have deployed and those who have not) to come together to support each other as they make the transition from military life to civilian student life. Often times, veterans can feel out of place in this process and may find it difficult to relate to their fellow students who have not served. The Veterans Support Group provides an outlet for veterans to serve other veterans in making this difficult transition. The group meets Fridays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Veterans Success Center group room. For more information call the VSC at (909)537-5195 or email email@example.com.
