Voice Your Choice is a civic engagement campaign aimed to provide you with education and information on voter registration and how to be civically involved in your community.
The US Midterm Election and California Statewide Election will be happening on Tuesday, November 3rd. Check out some resources that will help you register to vote, and tools that will guide you on what to expect to see on the ballot. Additionally, explore different ways to get involved in your community!
Register to Vote!
Register to vote or check your registration status by using the unique link below. The last day to register to vote for the November 3rd Election is October 19, 2026.
Eligible citizens who missed the October 20 deadline to register to vote may complete the "Same Day" voter registration process through Election Day on November 3, 2026, at their local county elections office or any in-person voting location within their county.
California Ballot Bowl Competition
The California University and College Ballot Bowl is a friendly statewide competition hosted by the California Secretary of State’s Students Vote Project that encourages college campuses to register students to vote and promote civic engagement. CSUSB is participating in the 2026 Ballot Bowl this Fall, and students can help support by registering to vote and making a plan to vote.

Ballot Drop-Off Box on Campus
CSUSB has a Ballot Drop-Off Box in front of the flagpoles located at the main campus entrance on University Pkwy. Voters using a drop-off location must deliver their ballot no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Night (November 3rd). Below is a list of other Ballot Drop-off locations in the area:

Important Dates
- September 15, 2026 -- National Voter Registration Day
- October 5, 2026 -- Your county elections office will begin mailing ballots
- October 6, 2026 -- Ballot drop-off locations open
- October 5 to October 9, 2026 -- National Voter Education Week
- October 19, 2026 -- Last Day to Register to Vote Online
- November 3, 2026 -- Election Day
Vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by the county by November 10, 2026.
