About Sponsored Programs at the Center

The Cybersecurity Center is responsible for several grant sponsored programs at CSUSB, including NICE Challenge, CyberCorps®: Scholarship for Service, and INSuRE. Through these programs, the Center can offer our students scholarships, special projects, and experiences as well as build relationships with organizations like Google, IBM, Bank of America, Booz Allen Hamilton, Northrop Grumman, the  National Security Agency (NSA), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Lawrence Livermore National Lab (LLNL).

From 2015-2017, the Center brought in over $17.5 million in grants. Within the past year, we also won three new awards and three renewals, making for a total of eight active projects for this coming year. With future grants, projects, and activities with professionals in both the public and private industry on the horizon, as well as engagements with the community and other universities, the Center looks forward to another exciting year.
