AI, InfoSec, and Mentorship (AIM) at California State University, San Bernardino is a student organization dedicated to helping students grow through mentorship, hands-on learning, and professional development in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and information security.
AIM connects students with mentors who can help them develop technical skills, explore cybersecurity and AI career paths, prepare for competitions, conduct research, and apply concepts learned in the classroom. Mentorship opportunities are available in technical skills, cybersecurity competitions, professional development, research, security frameworks, and general academic or career guidance.
AIM also helps students learn how cybersecurity is practiced in government and industry. Members gain experience with frameworks such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 and NIST Special Publication 800-53 while participating in workshops, technical projects, labs, and team-based activities.
