I am honored to serve as the FY 2023-2024 1965 Loyalty Society Chair and be a part of a community of donors who strongly believe in our #Coyote4Life family. The 1965 Loyalty Society comprises a special group of alumni and friends who support CSUSB with annual gifts of any size for three or more consecutive years.
This donor community was created to celebrate and recognize the immense support of donors who have transformed Cal State San Bernardino since its founding in 1965. CSUSB is grateful to our loyal donors, whose generosity has allowed us to continue to carry the mission of offering world-class, affordable education in the Inland Empire and Coachella Valley.
As a new member of this society, I hope to serve and honor our dedicated friends in many ways. Members will receive newsletters, impact stories, special event invitations, and more! Through our newsletters, you will be among the first to learn about all the exciting new things happening at CSUSB! You will also be invited to attend events throughout the year where you will have the opportunity to get involved and meet other donors and have a chance to visit the campus.
This is an exciting time for CSUSB. We are in the midst of our largest and most ambitious comprehensive campaign, Our Defining Moment: The Campaign for CSUSB, in support of scholarships, research, and excellence in learning in all specialties. I am proud to be partner in this historic endeavor along with nearly 700 other members.

Membership is based on household giving each fiscal year (July 1–June 30). CSUSB’s calculation of consecutive years of giving starts in 2011, the year that the CSUSB Philanthropic Foundation was established.
Any alumni, faculty, staff, retiree, or friend of the university are eligible to join the society with a gift of any size for three or more consecutive fiscal years. (July 1-June 30)
Gifts of any amount count toward CSUSB’s 1965 Loyalty Society membership.
You may direct your gift to any area of the university. Both unrestricted and restricted gifts qualify you for membership in society.
Unfortunately, currently, we do not have a buy-back program. A lapse in annual giving will restart the consecutive giving year count. We understand sometimes life happens; therefore, we will analyze every situation case by case, please email us at 1965Society@csusb.edu for assistance.
Donors who have given to the university for three or more consecutive years will be recognized as 1965 Loyalty Society members at the start of the next fiscal year on July 1.
