Services Offered To Students
Student Financial Services is the central location for student account inquiries and payments. We provide information related to payments, refunds, deadlines, and general questions about your student account.

| Financial Aid Refunds | Applies financial aid as payments to your student account and if the payment exceeds the charges a student account, processes a refund. |
| Payment Plans | CSUSB offers payment plans for fall, spring and summer terms. SFS creates and manages these payment plans each term. |
| Refunds and Drop Deadline | Processes all refunds for overpayment in accordance with all regulations and refund deadlines |
| Direct Deposit | SFS provides a secure, online process for students to request that all refunds are sent directly to a designated bank account. |
| Emergency Loans | SFS offers emergency loans each term and SFS reviews and processes each application in accordance with university policies. |
| Sponsored Billing | SFS will bill a student's third party sponsor directly. |
| Multiple Payment Methods | SFS encourages all students and authorized payers to pay online. In addition, SFS supports many payment methods and accepts payments for; tuition and fees, parking citations, ID cards, transcripts, graduation checks, etc. |
| 1098T Tax Reporting | SFS generates all 1098T forms and reports to the IRS in accordance with IRS guidelines. SFS offers access to receive forms electronically. |
| Collections | SFS manages the collection of all student accounts with outstanding balances. |
| FERPA | SFS complies with the federal regulation, FERPA. SFS offers a process to permit students to release financial information to third parties. |
| Financial Activity Statement | SFS offers a financial activity statement that can be printed at any time and provided to a desired third party when needed. |
| Perkins Loans | SFS contracts with ECSI to manage all billing and collections of Perkins Loans. |
| Forms and How-To Guides | SFS provides forms in PDF or Electronic Formats and How-To Guides to support self-service online functions. |
