Info Sessions
Our faculty and students would love to have you visit us, or have us come to your school or community group, to talk about physics and astronomy. We can scale our presentation from activities for kindergarten students to career talks for high school and community college students, with hands-on activities available for them too.

Here are some examples of what we can do:
Individual students: our students and faculty would love to give you a lab tour. Contact us and we'll find a time.
CSUSB visit for up to 120 elementary or middle school students:
- Four Physics/Astronomy stations for 30 students each to rotate through:
- Lab tours
- Solar observing
- Making rainbows with thin films and diffraction gratings
- Making LED buttons and learning about pixels
- Lunch on the lawn (your school provides/arranges)
- Campus tour
CSUSB students and faculty visit your school for about 2 hours:
- We bring telescopes to set up for solar observing on your campus.
- Our students and faculty bring a talk or activity to an individual classroom on:
- A concept you'd like us to cover
- Internships and research opportunities, and what it's like to be a college student at CSUSB
