Applying for Aid
File the FAFSA (CSUSB School Code: 001142) or the California Dream Act Application as early as possible. The Financial Aid & Scholarships office (financialaid@csusb.edu, (909) 537-5227, Scholarship Hotline (909) 537-7399) can walk you through eligibility, deadlines, and university-wide scholarship opportunities.
Physics and Astronomy-Specific Funding
In addition to university-wide scholarships, our department offers the Southern California Edison Scholarship and the Keller Scholarship, along with the Cal-Bridge Program, which provides mentorship and financial support for students from underrepresented backgrounds pursuing physics and astronomy PhDs, plus paid summer research opportunities mentioned elsewhere on this site.
