English Lecturer Advisory Committee
This committee serves an advisory role to the chair as a liaison for individual lecturer faculty members to ask questions or raise issues they may not feel comfortable airing on a listserv or in a faculty meeting, and as a focus group for department initiatives related to lecturers. The advisory committee also works together with the chair to evaluate applications and distribute funds for professional development from the Cindy Ragio English Lecturer Support Philanthropic Fund. There are 3-4 elected positions on the advisory committee, ideally with a mix of representation from lecturers from different contract levels. Each committee member serves on the committee for two years.
