TAAP/EEAAP Process
If an ICT product is considered medium or high impact and has significant accessibility barriers, the IT Accessibility Assessment Team will create a Temporary Alternative Access Plan (TAAP) formerly, "Equally Effective Alternate Access Plan (EEAAP)." The TAAP outlines accessibility barriers that have been noted on Accessibility Conformance Report documentation or discovered via manual testing, and a proactive plan of alternatives. This institutional response is designed so that the burden of discovery and workarounds is not placed on the end-user.
The IT Accessibility Assessment Team determines when a TAAP is necessary, and initiates the creation of the document with the requesting department. Additional information about the TAAP process is available on the TAAP web page for the CSU Accessible Technology Initiative.
