Research & Creative Activities Database

The Database of Research and Creative Activities connects students with faculty involved in research and creative activities across campus. Be sure to check the database periodically, as new opportunities are added regularly. 

Schedule a meeting with a Coyote Research Ambassadors for help with identifying the best opportunity for you. Ambassadors and the OSR staff, are available to assist you with applying to postings and help you to find opportunities off-campus as well. 

Studies show that conducting research while also networking with mentors and fellow students, you will gain a better knowledge of your anticipated field of study and may even expand your expertise into a number of new areas.

Research Matters Program

The Research Matters Program is designed to support CSUSB faculty as they navigate the Federal Work Study Program to hire eligible students as research assistants. The OSR will assist faculty in completing and submitting an advertisement for the open position, assist in recruiting and hiring work-study eligible research assistants, and assist faculty in completing monthly time sheets for their students. Faculty interested in participating in this program must submit a profile to the Research and Creative Activities Database.
