Jamie Ayala, M.B.A.

Jamie K. Ayala (she/her/hers) serves on the Employer Relations team at the CSUSB Career Center, building strategic and collaborative partnerships that expand internships, jobs, and meaningful experiential learning opportunities for students. Her work centers on equipping students with the skills, confidence, and global mindset needed to pursue careers, lifelong learning, and professional success.

Jamie brings more than 20 years of experience across government, private, and nonprofit sectors, specializing in communications, marketing, community engagement, and programs that connect students to resources and professional opportunities. Known for intrapreneurial thinking and service-oriented leadership, she strengthens employer engagement efforts and advances inclusive initiatives that support equitable access to career experiences.

As a guest lecturer at CSUSB and area community colleges, Jamie delivers practical insight into career development, networking strategies, professional communication, and leveraging experiential learning to build a competitive edge. Her sessions empower students to navigate the transition from college to career with confidence.

Prior to working in higher education, Jamie served as a public information officer for a Riverside County division and worked as a professional journalist in the Inland Empire—experience that continues to influence her collaborative approach and communication style.

Jamie holds an MBA (’20) from California State University, San Bernardino, and a BA in Communications with a minor in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton.
