Lauren Williams, M.S., PPS

Lauren Amber Williams is a Counselor within the Career Center and has years of experience supporting students in counseling related and adjunct teaching roles.
Serving as a Career Advisor, she assists students and alumni with their professional development and career readiness approach through advising sessions, student success workshops & presentations, and partner collaborations.
As an Adjunct Counselor with Chaffey College, she semesterly instructed career exploration & life planning courses, and provided academic advisement, assisted students with comprehensive educational plans.
Prior to Lauren’s counseling experiences, she held multiple roles as a Production Artist and Project Manager at companies within the large-format print industry, which included overseeing multi-dollar projects for various cosmetic and apparel brands for 8+ years.
Lauren graduated with her Master’s in Educational Counseling with a PPS credential in 2018 from the University of La Verne. In 2012, she graduated from Cal State Fullerton as a student-athlete on scholarship with the Track & Field team with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Minor in Gender Studies. In 2010, she received the Big West Conference Scholar Student-Athlete Award for her academic achievements.
And as an IE native, Lauren was raised in Fontana and Chino Hills, graduating from Chino Hills High School in 2007.
