AFROTC training curriculum is composed of Practical Military Training (PMT) and Aerospace Studies (AS) Classes
PMT and AS Classes are hosted at CSUSB twice a week during only the Fall & Spring Semesters falling in line with CSUSB's University Calendar
Cadets are required to attend at least 80% of all PMT and AS Classes. Crosstown cadets whose primary academic institutions are not in session are not required to attend PMT during that time but are still required to attend AS Classes.
Practical Military Training (PMT)
Physical Training is a PMT event that cadets must attend twice a week:
- Tuesday or Wednesday (cadets must attend at least one): 0600 - 0700
- Friday (all cadets must attend): 0600 - 0700
Leadership Laboratory (AS 5001) is a hands-on PMT event that all cadets must attend each week:
Friday: 1300 - 1500
Aerospace Studies (AS) Classes
AS Classes are required academic sessions that cadets must attend each week:

- (1st Year Cadets) AS 1001/1002: 0830 - 0920
- (2nd Year Cadets) AS 2001/2002: 1030 - 1120
- (3rd Year Cadets) AS 3001/3002: 0830 - 1120
- (4th Year Cadets) AS 3001/3002: 0830 - 1120
